John Wick 4 and Matrix 4 are intended to be launched together: Where are they now?
Finally we checked with the next two major Reeves films, John Wick 4 and Matrix 4, we were discussing how their partner launch was changed. On May 21, 2021, Matrix 4 and John Wick 4 should launch one next to the other, both in the cinema on the same day. Now films are in points that are very different in production, with a release date now a separate for about 5 months.
The matrix will be released first. The film was jammed with mighty hope, as did the most recently released Matrix film 18 years ago. The film was released only 6 months after Matrix Reloaded, a film released about 4 years after the first film matrix, which was released in 1999.
The main photography for this film was completed in November 2020, but the news about the attachment of actors who had not been announced before the film had appeared since then. For example Christina Ricci was announced as part of the cast in June 2021.
Until this week, per Collider interview, Laurence Fishburne was officially not part of this latest matrix film. That doesn’t mean he won’t be mentioned – it will be very difficult to believe – but maybe he won’t appear on the screen.

- Daniel Bernhardt as a Johnson agent
- Keanu Reeves as Neo
- Carrie-Anne Moss as a Trinity
John Wick 4 will, on the other hand, once again feature Laurence Fishburne as Bowery King with Keanu Reeves as John Wick. Shamier Anderson, Bill Skarsgård, Hiroyuki Sanada, Rina Sawayama, and Donnie Yen all have been confirmed to appear in the film too.
Per latest reports of deadlines, this new John Wick movie will also have the potential to display Scott Adkins.

The film John Wick 4 is currently scheduled for the release of the theater on May 27, 2022. The film is executive produced by Keanu Reeves and Louise Rosner, produced by Chad Stahelski, Erica Lee, Basil IWank, and once again directed by Chad Stahelski.
Matrix 4 Film (Fourth No Title Matrix Film) is currently scheduled to be released in theaters and streaming digitally on HBO Max in the United States (for the first month) starting on December 22, 2021. The film is being produced by Lana. Wachowski and Grant Hill and directed by Lana Wachowski.
