Amazon Hello Reviews: Health Movement Meet Over-sharing

Fair to say Amazon Hello down to the beginning of rocky. A fitness band that promises rival analysis cannot provide, worsening can be used maybe simple but the learning machine that runs on the Amazon server is nothing but assuming you feel comfortable with all personal data sharing. Now, Hello adds health analysis of movement as other premium services.

Amazon Hello is $ 99.99, and is equipped with six months of Halo membership. Service is $ 3.99 per month after that. You have to pay most of the features: Halo activity sessions, steps, heartbeat, heat burns, time awake and fall asleep, and sleep temperature without subscribing, but if you want tone analysis, body composition activity, broader activity tracking, stage tracking Sleep, and health analysis of new movements – In short, all things that regulate hello apart from cheaper trackers – it will be charged.

There is no screen, no speaker, and there is no way to use Hello notifications to mark or call from your mobile. Whether it’s added value or minus down to personal tastes. It helps with battery life, with 5+ days between my typical routine costs. Amazon default rope is a simple fabric, available in three sizes; There is a replacement in various colors, and in silicone rubber, the vibration.

It’s not the thinnest fitness tracker out there. It stands out a fair amount on my wrist – similar to an apple watch, but it has a look and more that happens inside – and the velcro loop can be fiddly to close and feel comfortable. Minimal physical control, with basically only one multifunction button. Everything else, including settings, is done through the application.

Likewise, I decided not to use the analysis of the composition of the same Amazon body, which involves uploading photos of yourself in the right exercise clothing or underwear to the company’s server.

I have no doubt that there are many security systems in that place, as Amazon said, or that the files are immediately deleted. However, at the time of our data booth – and especially footprints on different company servers throughout the world – it is increasing, I think taking a more careful approach to where we upload our images wise.

You have to allow the analysis of the health server side of the Halo movement too, of course, because Amazon records you to calculate how flexible you are. Official guidance is wearing “Fitting Fitting”: Thinking along the line of compression shorts, pants, or a fitting shirt, rather than shorts or loose sweat. That’s because analysis needs to see your individual movements, even though it doesn’t have a problem with me wearing regular exercise shorts and standard shirts.

After you choose the right clothes, it’s a problem to sustain your phone on the floor with a cranked volume, and then follow the instructions. There are five different types of movements Amazon continues, with a full screen preview of what you have to do and your own video in small sub-windows. They are basic and do not feel uncomfortable: think things like crashing forward when you lower one knee, or squat to squat while keeping your feet on the ground.

Most take about 10 minutes – except, like me, your cellphone keeps sliding and you have to restart the segment – and after that you get a health rating of a pretty instant movement. This is the overall number of 100, then dividing int
